"Wee Hours" - vertical art print
There is a particular quality to the world at this hour.
Not quite night. Not yet morning. The snow has muffled everything that made sound yesterday and the trees stand in their blue silence, bare branches holding what little light exists as though they are not sure yet whether to let it go. The path leads somewhere. You cannot quite see where.
The old ones had a name for this hour. They called it liminal, the threshold, the in-between. They understood it as the time when the world was neither one thing nor another, when the veil between what is seen and what is not grew thin enough to feel. They treated it with a particular kind of reverence. Not fear, exactly. More like the quiet attention you give to something that deserves it.
This painting asks for that same attention. To stand at the edge of the light for a moment. To resist the urge to fill the silence. To let the blue of the trees and the warmth beginning at the center of the wood do what it is doing, which is simply this: the night releasing its hold, one degree at a time.

Packaged in a sturdy mailer or shipping tube. If your print comes in a shipping tube, simply lay them out on a clean, dry surface for a couple of hours.
(Pro tip: lay facedown on a clean surface or the tissue paper it comes wrapped in, and lay a book on top to flatten quicker!)

These gorgeous art prints are printed on demand. Please allow some time for us to prepare your order. Usually 5-7 business days.
The materials used are high quality and archival. Your beautiful art print will last a lifetime with proper care. Each print is cut to size with or without additional borders, depending on your choice.
➤ ABOUT FINE ART PAPER PRINTS:
The art prints are printed on heavyweight fine art cold-pressed paper. They have a slight texture similar to watercolor paper and are printed with highly pigmented ink. This luxurious matte paper allows for rich and vibrant colors.
➤ CARE:
Paper prints are more delicate, and it's highly recommended that your print be framed behind glass. If you can splurge on a frame with UV glass or acrylic, it's even better.
It isn't recommended to have your print out in the open, as they will get dirty from dust and everyday particles, which over time will affect the colors of the prints. Not to mention they can easily get damaged, particularly the corners.
